The 2630 Series is designed for continuous, high-speed operation measuring cable, rope, tubing or wire up to 15mm in diameter.
The measuring machine is equipped with two adjustable tension springs that are mounted externally and can be unhooked from their anchor. This allows the measuring head to be pivoted up to a backstop to facilitate threading. When in position, the tension springs grip the cable between the measuring roller and the bottom roller. Both rollers have self-lubricating bearings.
